A unit of Norwegian composer Ralph Lavland and Irish violinist Finnula Shelley. It stems from a longstanding desire to create music with simple expressions for Ralph, a leader in Norwegian music. Finnula is a partner whom I met in order to realize a relaxing music with beautiful melodies and harmonies that reminds me of nature. Finnura was an artist who was involved in the production of music by Van Morrison and Sinnard O’Connor while working in the orchestra of the Irish national broadcasting station. In 1994, she released her debut album ‘Songs from a Secret Garden’. The gentle sound that retains the smell of traditional music is popular.

‘Eastern Japan Support Concert at “wa” 2019 in Tokyo’, which was held on March 11, 2019 at Bunkamura Orchard Hall, will be broadcast on BS-TBS “Satisfied! Trend Navi” on March 23 (Sat).
In July 2018, Sarah visited Kamaishi City with NHK announcer Ryuji
Miyamoto to see the current state of reconstruction and revitalization.
The concert also featured a video of Sarah visiting Kamaishi City.
It was an experience in the disaster area where I overcame loneliness
and felt a positive attitude toward regeneration and energy.

Sarah was appointed as an ambassador of support for the Kyushu National Museum on January 23, 2019.
The Kyushu Museum is the newest national museum in Japan, and while three national museums in Tokyo, Kyoto and Nara are art museums, the Kyushu National Museum was established as a historical museum.
Sarah has been associated with the Kyushu Museum and Dazaifu City for a long time, and has supported various activities. She was appointed to the “supporting ambassador” this time. The term of the support ambassador is two years, and Sarah will become the first support ambassador.
